💛 Please help give Brian a chance at life — share his story, spread the word, be part of his miracle.

Message:
My husband Brian is someone you might not know yet, but his story matters — deeply. He’s a husband, father, friend, and fighter. Until recently, he was living with a diagnosis of Primary FSGS, which has since progressed to Collapsing FSGS— a devastating form of kidney disease. His nephrologist has warned that he could reach complete kidney failure within 6–12 months. We are now at month 11.
Despite all of that, Brian’s energy wavers, his strength steadily declines — yet his hope, his spunk, his humor remain unwavering. He continues smiling, cheering us on, making us laugh, even as he fights for his life.
With his kidney function down to just 18%, every social contact, every change of season, every little cold becomes a risk. One small infection, one unexpected complication, and everything could shift into crisis.
We are doing everything we can: clean eating, doctor appointments, medications every single day — but the truth is: we cannot do it by ourselves anymore. We need a living kidney donor. And we believe this can be done.
Brian has the opportunity to be part of the Transplant Living Donor Voucher Program — a program that can turn the odds in his favor by giving him access to a near‑perfect match kidney. We only need one generous, healthy person willing to say yes. That one person could save his life.
Important note for potential donors:
If you proceed with remote donation (meaning you undertake your tests/release through another transplant center rather than UPenn), it’s crucial to stay in frequent contact with your local transplant center so the process doesn’t stall. For help:

We are a family clinging to hope. Brian may look like he’s doing okay today — still smiling, still loving, still living — but each day is fragile. You have the power to help us reach the right person at the right time. Please, help us find Brian’s donor.
With love, hope, and deepest gratitude,
Tam & Brian
